Wordless Wednesday: MAM


For this week's Wordless Wednesday, I'm posting some photos I took of the Milwaukee Art Museum, which I admit, I don't visit as often as I would like.  The Quadracci Pavilion (the winged structure) has become world-famous since it's completion in 2001, and was even named "the best design of 2001".

    Wonderful structure, and the blue sky sets off the lines so well. Love the Chihuly too, I'm a big fan.

    Nice. I'm embarased to say I've been inside once and barely remember it. Pretty cool design isn't it? Love the squiggly, colorful bits.

    Great images of the Museum - isn't that roof line amazing! When I was last there the Winterthur quilt exhibition was going on - our quilt history study group was so in awe of everything. Love the Dale Chihuly piece so much!
