Wordless Wednesday: Life Lessons

For this week's Wordless Wednesday, I took some photos of very unique public art located in downtown Waukesha.  These bears, according to the plaque you can read below, were created to honor the Native American teachings of family and survival.  You can also see where the bears are located below, on the Fox River.

  1. Beautiful! Perfect fall weather scenes and even though bears frighten me, these fake ones are okay! ;-)

    1. Thanks for visiting, Claudia! It is a nice part of town and it's where the summer farmer's market is located.

    1. Thanks! We have a wonderful Historic Preservation Society that makes sure the buildings and the overall look of downtown remains "charming" and represents the history of Waukesha.

    1. Thanks, Laurie! As much as I want to leave this town (only because I grew up here and feel like I'm the only one of my former classmates who still lives here), there are many things to love about Waukesha, including its arts district, diversity, and the fact that it's always changing. Thanks for the follow, and for your nice comments about my blog!
