Spring Flowers

Spring has finally started coming to Wisconsin.  Recently, I took a class on Macro Photography, especially how you can use it for flowers.  Then I went to both Waukesha Floral & Greenhouse and the Mitchell Park Domes to practice my new skills.  I had a lot of fun and learned a lot!

I will try to post more photos of flowers as they bloom in the outdoors over the next few months.  This post is for Wordless Wednesday.  To see more bloggers' photos (and maybe more flowers), click here and here.

  3. Can't wait until things bloom here in New Jersey. It's been so cold, but hopefully the warm up later this week will make things bloom.

    1. Thanks, Carrie! You don't necessarily need a macro lens to do macro photography. All you have to do is get VERY close, use the camera's Macro setting, put your lens on Manual Focus, focus on one small area of the flower and take the picture. A tripod helps to keep it steady as well.
