Spring has finally started coming to Wisconsin. Recently, I took a class on Macro Photography, especially how you can use it for flowers. Then I went to both Waukesha Floral & Greenhouse and the Mitchell Park Domes to practice my new skills. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot!
I will try to post more photos of flowers as they bloom in the outdoors over the next few months. This post is for Wordless Wednesday. To see more bloggers' photos (and maybe more flowers), click here and here.
I love flowers. I just updated my facebook cover this morning with some plumerias from Hawaii!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Heather. The Domes are cool. This spring they are having a Mardi Gras exhibit in their Show Dome. Can't wait for that one!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Veronica!
DeleteStunning images! One of these days, I'll have enough saved for a macro lens :) Visiting from WW at Create With Joy.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carrie! You don't necessarily need a macro lens to do macro photography. All you have to do is get VERY close, use the camera's Macro setting, put your lens on Manual Focus, focus on one small area of the flower and take the picture. A tripod helps to keep it steady as well.
